Louisiana Railroad days Festival Is This Weekend! [VIDEO]

Dequincy's sleepy downtown area comes to life this weekend with a festival that has become a tradition in Southwest Louisiana! The Louisiana Railroad Days Festival is on!

The festival starts Thursday at five when the food booths and carnival officially open. Friday's festivities begin at three. The Festival opens Saturday morning at 8:30 with the Cannon Ball 5K Run. At nine the carnival Rides, Museum, Model Train Show and Arts and Crafts all open and the Railroad Idol contest starts at eleven. The full festival schedule is here.
