Low Pressure System In Bay Of Campeche Shows Signs Of Developement
The Southern Bay of Campeche is looking anything but "peachy" this morning. A low pressure system coming off the Yucatan Peninsula could develop. It is certainly that time of year.
It's always a good morning when you open the NOAA site and fin no tropical lows on the map. I opened the map this morning and saw red. The latest report indicates the system has seen new storm activity near the center has been given a 60% of becoming a tropical cyclone in the next 48 hours. The Air Force could send a plane to investigate later today. The system is expected to reach the coast of the Mexican State of Veracruz by sometime Monday.
