The LSU Tigers baseball team have had a rough two weeks.  Since starting Southeastern Conference (SEC) play a couple weeks ago, the Tigers have been on the losing end of their first to SEC series.

It all started on March 18th when LSU started SEC play against Alabama.  They lost two of three at home against the Tide.  Then this past weekend the Tigers lost two out of three to Texas A & M.  LSU has lost 4 of their past seven games.

Last week they were nationally ranked at #13 but after losing their second straight SEC series the Tigers baseball team have dropped again in the polls.

The LSU baseball team are now barely in the top 20 in some of the polls.  The Tigers fell to #19 in the Baseball America Top 25, #15 in the D1Baseball.com Top 25, and #17 in the Perfect Game Top 25.

LSU will face in-state rival Tulane tonight in Baton rouge and then will prepare for another three game road series against SEC rival Auburn this weekend.
