LSU Baseball Team Make Huge Jump In Latest Polls

After going 5-0 last week taking two games from Notre Dame and sweeping Tennessee over the weekend, the Tigers baseball team made huge gains in the latest college baseball national polls.

This week, the Tigers moved up from #22 to #9 in the Perfect Game Top 25 poll. That is a huge jump!  LSU also moved up from #11 to #8 in the Baseball America Top 25 poll.  

The Tigers are also currently # 8 in the Baseball Coaches Poll, # 9 in the NCBWA Top 30, and #10 in the D1Baseball.com Top 25.

Their are only four games left in the regular season for the Tigers.  LSU will take on Northwestern State tonight at 6:30 p.m. in Baton Rouge and then will host the #1 team in the country, the Florida Gators,  this weekend at Alex Box stadium starting Thursday night 6:30 p.m.
