With his first full season as LSU's head football coach coming in September, Ed Orgeron is building a staff of excellent coaches for the 2017 season and yesterday he announced two new hires.

A few months back, Orgeron secured Dave Aranda as the defensive coordinator and Matt Canada for Offensive Coordinator.

Yesterday, head coach Ed Orgeron added to more coaches to his staff and these two gentleman are highly sought after coaches.

Orgeron announced the hiring Tommie Robinson and Mickey Joseph who both have a great reputation of being outstanding recruiters.

Robinson, who coached at USC last season, will be the new running backs coach as well as holding the title of assistant head coach and recruiting coordinator.

Joseph, who coached at Louisiana Tech last year, will be the LSU’s wide receivers coach. Both Joseph and Robinson will also play a big part in recruiting for the LSU football team as well.

LSU kicks off the 2017 on Saturday September 2nd at NRG stadium in Houston when the face off against BYU.
