We are just at the start of the 2016 season and the LSU Tigers football team are sitting with a record 1-1 in the young season. The Tigers will start SEC play this weekend.

Even though we are in the current season, the LSU athletic department has already set the 2017 football schedule.  The Tigers will have seven home games in Tigers stadium in 2017.

Some of the marquee match ups in 2017 will include games against Florida, Texas A&M, Arkansas and Auburn.  The Tigers will also have another kickoff to the season type game.  Next year LSU will take on BYU in Houston at NRG stadium.

Here is the 2017 LSU football Schedule according to LSUSports.net:

Sept. 2 vs. BYU (Houston)
Sept. 9 UT-CHATTANOOGA
Sept. 16 at Mississippi State
Sept. 23 SYRACUSE
Sept. 30 TROY
Oct. 7 FLORIDA
Oct. 14 AUBURN
Oct. 21 at Ole Miss
Oct. 28 Open date

But if your a huge LSU football fan like me, let's focus on the current season.
