For the LSU Tigers and McNeese Cowboys it seemed like last weeks game was just a bad dream. Both teams won by putting up big offensive numbers and quickly erased last week's losses.

The Tigers were in a fight with Mississippi State until the fourth quarter. The tigers exploded for 28 unanswered fourth quarter points to cruise to a 59-26 win. Jeremy Hill had 157 yards and 2 touchdowns, Zak Mettenberger added 340 yards and 2 touchdown passes.

The Cowboys were in full control over Central Arkansas by half time with a 42-21 first half lead. The Cowboys ripped off a record setting 595 offensive yards. Cody Stroud was 13-19 for 237 yards while  Marcus Wiltz ran for a career high 181 yards. The Cowboys brought home the Red Beans and Rice trophy and won for the first time ever at Central Arkansas with a 59-28 final score.

Now can the Saints give us the hat trick?
