The LSU Tigers finished their season on a winning the Advocare V100 Texas Bowl last night.

The Fighting Tigers defeated the Texas Tech Red Raiders 56-27 with a balanced offensive attack behind RB Leonard Fournette. The star tailback was a double threat in the running game and when the Tigers put the football in the air.

LSU and Texas Tech were in a shootout in the first half of the contest. The Tigers took a 21-13 lead at the half. LSU would finally pull away in the fourth quarter.

By the end of the game, Fournette had five total touchdowns. That ties a bowl record.
