March for Babies is Sat April 18th!

The March for Babies is coming up on Saturday, April 18th at the Lake Charles Civic Center. You may have heard me talk about this because it's one of my favorite walks! I've always loved babies, but now I'm going to be even more enamoured with them since I have my first grand baby on the way!!

Every year, the March of Dimes sponsors the March for Babies in an effort to raise money to help mom's achieve full-term pregnancies. They also research problems that threaten pregnancies/babies and work on solutions to prevent them. The money raised from the walk goes to this research. You can be a part of helping babies get a healthy start!

Registration begins at 8 am at the Lake Charles Civic Center Saturday, April 18th. You can walk as an individual, a family or a team in an effort to raise $75,000.00. It will be a fun day with people who share a common goal! If you can't make the walk, you can make a donation as well.
