March Madness Comes To Southwest Louisiana!

28 of the top girls teams in Louisiana will be making their way to Lake Charles this week to compete in the LHSAA State Farm Top 28 Basketball Championships. The tournament will be held at the Burton Coliseum starting tomorrow with the finals to be held March 6th - 7th.  Local teams competing will be Pickering in Class 2A on Wednesday at 8 p.m. and Lacassine in Class B on Wednesday at 2:45 p.m..

The Girls tournament will be followed by the boys LHSAA State Farm Top 28 Basketball Championships on March 10th -14th, also at the Burton Coliseum. Teams competing in that tournament are still yet to be determined.
