McNeese Baseball Opens Southland Conference Tournament Against Sam Houston State Tonight

The regular season is over Pokes baseball fans and your McNeese Cowboys are heading to the Southland Conference (SLC) baseball tournament as the fourth seed and will face the fifth seed Sam Houston State tonight.

The Cowboys finished the regular season at 32-23 overall and a SLC record of 18-12. They finished fourth in the conference standing hence forth why they received the 4th seed in the tournament.

The pokes will face the fifth-seeded Sam Houston State Bearcats.  The Cowboys only faced the Bearcats once this year beating them 5-2 on the home field in Huntsville, Texas.

The 2015 Southland Conference Tournament will be held at Constellation Field in Sugar Land, Texas.  The Cowboys and Bearcats game will start around 7:00 p.m. tonight and you can here all the action here on Cajun Radio 1470 & 1290 AM's.
