Where was Tyrann Mathieu last night? Well McNeese has confirmed that he was meeting with them last night.
Now the question of the hour is, will he come to McNeese and play for the Cowboys? Here is what we know so far.KPLC Reports:
In a statement released just before Noon Saturday, McNeese State Sports Information Director Matthew Bonnette said Coach Matt Viator met with the former Tiger All-American late Friday evening.
“I received a call from Tyrann after practice on Friday that he wanted to come and meet with us,” Viator said in the statement. ”We contacted LSU to get permission to talk to him and he arrived on campus later that night. We visited for an hour-and-a-half and then he went back home to New Orleans.”

The statement came the day after after a flood of posts on social media sites and sports message board claiming the visit between Mathieu had occurred. When reached Friday night, Viator and other McNeese officials said they had no contact with Mathieu.
“To McNeese’s knowledge, Mathieu has not made a decision on his intentions and there will be no other comments from McNeese about the issue at this time.”
