McNeese Football Release 2016 Schedule

New McNeese Football Lance Guidry took to the podium on Friday and announced his new coaching staff and the Cowboys 2016 football schedule.

Guidry takes over the helm from legendary McNeese football coach Matt Viator who vacated the spot in December to go to the Univeristy of Louisiana at Monroe (ULM).

Guidry didn't waste much time hiring some new coaches and boy did he as he hired some of McNeese's footballs past greats.   Guidry announced the hiring of three of the greatest players to ever play at Cowboy Stadium in Kerry Joesph, Zack Bronson and Charlie Ayro.  All three coaches are in the McNeese Football Hall of Fame.

He also announced the 2016 upcoming football season which includes a big I-10 rival game against the Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns on September 10th in Lafayette.

The Cowboys will have six home games this year and play 11 games overall in 2016.  Here is the 2016 McNeese Football Schedule:

A new coaching staff and new head coach starts a new regime at McNeese and we will see how it all shakes out when the Cowboys kickoff the season September 3rd.
