On Friday, April 10th at 3:30 Tim Tebow will be hanging out with the McNeese Cowboys football team in Cowboy Stadium to teach your young football star the skills they need to be an outstanding football player. In addition to offence, defense, and agility drills, your child will also be instructed on team safety and good sportsmanship within the game.

In 2007 Tebow became the first sophomore in NCAA history to win a Heisman Trophy. He won two national championships with the Florida Gators and also spent some time in the NFL. The clinic is sponsored by Macifest. Macifest was started by 10 yr old Maci Fontenot, who overcame cancer and now wants to help make a difference in other’s lives.

In addition to the Youth Skills Clinic a “Night of Inspiration” will be presented Friday night at 6:30 at the James E. Sudduth Coliseum at the Lake Charles Civic Center hosted by Tim Tebow, where he will talk about his football career and Christian faith. Other members of the community will also be sharing their inspirational stories.

Proceeds for both events will be used to support autism organizations in Gator Country.
