McNeese Unloads on War Hawks 69-7!
September 9, 2012 9:56 AM The Cowboys were in total domination mode this week after playing a very good game last week. This team is looking very good …. so far.
This is the kind of game where parents fall in love with the coach; because everybody gets to play. They even tell the trainers to dress out. Well maybe it did not go that far. It was 21-0 at the end of the first quarter and 45-0 at halftime. McNeese was substituting before the first half was over. The Cowboy coaches got a chance to look at a lot of kids who are the Cowboy’s future; and it looked good! I’m sure the War Hawks were anxious to wing thier way back to Texas. Next week will not be so easy for the cowboys as they travel Ogden, Utah to try and corrall Weber State. The Wildcats lost thier season opener to Fresno State 37-10 then lost this week 45-13 at the hands of BYU. They will be looking for redemtion at home against our Pokes.
