McNeese Wins Southland Conference Title [VIDEO]

Poke Nation rejoiced as those in attendance watched the McNeese State beat Sam Houston State 27-10 to clinch the Southland title as well as the conference's automatic bid to the FCS playoffs.

McNeese is one of three unbeaten teams remaining in the FCS. In last night contest against Sam Houston State, QB Daniel Sams finished with 164 rushing yards and 168 passing yards, and two touchdowns in the second quarter.

A well deserved bye awaits the Cowboys and in two weeks, McNeese will travel to Lamar to wrap up regular season play. Good Job Pokes!
