Last night, the Saints decide to focus on the defensive side of the ball by selecting DT Sheldon Rankins from Louisville. Rankins was picked 12th overall  in the NFL Draft.

The defensive tackle played for the Louisville Cardinals and is from Covington, Georgia. As a senior in 2015, he had 58 tackles and six sacks and returned a fumble for a touchdown. Obviously some Saints fans have been paying attention and others not so much.

Welcome to Da Who Dat Nation, Rankins !!

Now, the Saints do not need corners! They need QB pressure so secondary is not scrambling around for days, Hopefully that will be the plan for the upcoming rounds.
