Hold your horses! The West Cal Airport Managing Board will  re-vote on whether to approve a "temporary residential housing community" near Southland Executive Airport.

A few weeks ago, the board voted 3-2 in favor of the planned development, which would provide housing for up to 2,500 workers. But MANY residents of Carlyss are NOT in favor of this project. Why? Ohhh.. increase traffic and crime in the area.

Earlier this week, the board's legal counsel advised it to vote again, because the public was not allowed time for comment at the May 27th meeting prior to the vote. The board approved a special meeting for Monday to hear comments and take another vote.
