Reports Says Randy Travis Unable to Talk

This morning with Kris and Scott, Jimmy Carter reported that Randy Travis is unable to speak as a result of a stroke from last summer.

Jimmy says those close to Randy are hoping for a full return to the stage within three years with the help of a therapist. Travis has trouble forming a sentence, and it’s unclear if he can follow a conversation. Doctors did perform emergency brain surgery three days following Randy’s admission after he suffered a stroke at the Heart Hospital at Baylor Plano in Texas.
