Carly Pearce and Michael Ray have treated their fans to their swoon-worthy twist on Keith Whitley's 1988 hit "When You Say Nothing at All" during live performances in the past, but the country couple got a treat themselves when the legendary Ricky Skaggs joined them for the song during a recent performance at the Grand Ole Opry. Press play above to see the special moment.

Skaggs stepped onto the stage to join Pearce and Ray for the song's second chorus, and it took a moment for it to hit Ray, who was on guitar and turned to look at Skaggs in surprise after finishing a line. After the chorus, he introduced Skaggs to the audience.

"Ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Ricky Skaggs, WOW!" Ray says.

Pearce told her fans on Facebook that Skaggs appearance was as much of a surprise to them as it was to the people in the audience. "Last month, Michael Ray & I sang one of our favorite songs together on the Grand Ole Opry stage. As you can see on our faces, we had no clue that one of our heroes was standing in the wings watching & surprised us all by coming out and singing with us. Truly a moment I'll never forget. We love you Ricky Skaggs!" Pearce posted.

Pearce and Ray have performed together on several occasions, including at the Grand Ole Opry and during appearances at each other's solo shows. The real-life couple channeled some June Carter and Johnny Cash for a cover of "Jackson" at the Grand Ole Opry back in August of 2018, shorty after they confirmed rumors that they were dating.
