Ryan Keith’s Weight Loss Vlog: Let’s Be Honest
First of all I would like to say thank you to everyone who had encouraging and kind words for me when I announced that I was starting my diet on November 1st. It means a lot and it still does, because I know you have my back!
Here’s were I’m at right now in my life change journey. I have eaten healthier than I was before, eating more protein and vegetables. However, it’s not going as well as I would like. They say it takes 6 weeks to make a habit.
I think I may have bit of more than I can chew (see what I did there)! I am stuck in a cycle of being unhealthy and I know mentally I am not strong enough to go through the holiday season on a diet. I would be setting myself up for failure.
Unfortunately, the way my mind works is when I get an idea to do something I want to do it right then. I don’t want to wait, let’s get this thing done! Which usually leads to a poorly planned attack on the idea that I have. With that said, this is totally another example of me rushing into things.
I know it’s cliche to do the “New Years thing”, but, I feel I’ll be more equipped mentally and by that time I’ll have a good plan to battle my unhealthy choices.
Also, in conjunction with my diet I’ll be partnering with a locally owned gym called Project Fit here in Lake Charles. Myself and another DJ, at one of our sister stations, will be starting January 1st at the gym to not only transform our bodies but mentally as well!
Starting back up in January, with your support and the help of Project Fit, I know I will be setting myself up for victory.
I promise you, I will attack this and we’ll go through this journey together!
