Saints Get Speedy Wide Reciever With Joe Morgan

Joe Morgan first signed with the Saints in 2011 and showed great promise before an injury took him out for the season. he was showcasing his speed in 2012 before another injury sidelined him for the season. The3 Saints have resigned Morgan in hopes of big things in 2014.

Joe Morgan has 4.4 speed in the 40 yard dash. That makes him a big time threat as a wide receiver; especially with Drew Brees throwing to him. In 2012 the 6'1" Morgan caught an 80 yard touchdown pass from Brees and was just coming into his own. he then missed the entire 2013 season with an injury. The Saints still believe in Morgan and signed him to a new one year contract.

Morgan also ran into some legal problems but it would seem that too is behind him. According to USA Today Jefferson Parish prosecutors have dismissed a drunken-driving charge against New Orleans Saints wide receiver Joe Morgan, who has accepted entry into the district attorney's office diversion program.
