Saints Junior Galette Named NFL Defensive Player of the Week

When we were looking at the New Orleans Saints defense in weeks one and two ... none of us thought that unit would be producing a "Defensive Player of the Week." It would seem that the Saints defense is jelling and this award to Junior Galette is a very good sign.

Junior Galette had three solo tackles, 2 sacks and forced a fumble in last weeks Saints victory over Carolina. The Saints defense is showing up and it would seem that Brees has fully recovered from his preseason injury. The defense will certainly be tested this week when the Saints take on the 49ers.
