This past Saturday, the Prien Lake Mall got SWAMPED...with the 2nd annual Bayou Bash! It was a great family event with carnival rides featuring rides like a Ferris wheel and more, live music, and the public got to meet and hang out with RJ and Jay Paul from the “Swamp People”!

The Prien Lake Mall's Bayou Bash brought together local culture and cuisine, celebrating the sounds of the Bayou as well as regional performing artists, such as Horace Trahan, Ashes of Babylon and Damon Troy! There was favorite local fare, a carnival, a fun interactive family / kids zone, great shopping deals, Cajun cooking competition to raise money for Simon Youth Foundation, a beverages that benefited the Arts & Humanities Council of SWLA and so much more!
