Scotty McCreery is combining a few of his biggest passions music, sports and youth this fall. The Season 10 ‘American Idol’ winner has launched a six-city Major League Baseball tour, where he will donate a grand total of $50,000 to local youth baseball programs.

At each game, the former high school pitcher will invite local radio winners to be his personal guests, provide CDs for contest winners and serve as the game’s guest broadcaster. McCreery kicked off his baseball tour on Aug. 29 at the Tampa Blue Rays stadium, where he threw out the first pitch, sang ‘Take Me Out to the Ballgame’ and donated $5000 to a Tampa youth baseball organization.
