Damaged in March of 2015 and then again in August 2017, the Starks Alligator Park is finally set to reopen to the public. August 15, the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10am. Flooding caused the original shut down, then the continued shut down up until now. It boasts to have a climate controlled pavilion, fishing pier, restroom, showers, parking, and RV spots as well.
