Sulphur Mines Festival Cancelled Due to Bad Weather

Because of the bad weather situation this week in Southwest Louisiana, the popular Sulphur Mines Festival has been cancelled.

The event was supposed to be this Friday and Saturday.

According to the Brimstone Museum website:

"The Sulphur Mines Festival Committee consulted with Sulphur Parks & Recreation, the City of Sulphur, and other entities involved in the event, and decided that the expected weather conditions would impact event turnout, visitor safety, and many other factors."
