Internationally-known superstar chef and restaurateur Paul Prudhomme has died.

When most people think of Prudhomme, Cajun and Creole cuisine come to mind! Besides his 1980's cooking craze, the famous chef literally built a business empire of food and spice died today. He was 75.

Prudhomme has been honored with awards including Restaurateur of the Year, Culinary Diplomat by the American Culinary Federation, and humanitarian by Bon Appetit in 2006 for his donation of food and services to relief workers after Hurricane Katrina.
