‘Swamp People’ Star Has Died In Swamp[VIDEO]

Sources tell us Swamp People star Mitchell Guist was out in his boat along the Belle River when he “fell.” Witnesses say he appeared to have been suffering a seizure.

911 was called when the boat returned to vessel to the dock, and emergency personnel responded to the scene and transported Mitchell to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Swampers through and through, Glenn and Mitchell Guist were born and raised on the bayou and live entirely off the land. These brothers are always up to something, whether it’s hunting for their dinner or making use of everything nature has to offer. This season, the boys are hoping to repair their homes with cypress wood from the swamp and maybe even catch a gator. One thing is for sure: Their adventures always lead to interesting places.
