10 Car Pile Up on I-10 in Acadia Parish Has I-10 At a Crawl!

The message sent out by the Acadia Sheriff's Office indicated an accident with at least ten vehicle in the median, You are being ask to avoid the area.

 

 

 

The most congested area is in Acadia Parish between mile marker 82 and 88. You are being ask to avoid that area. It will take some time to get everything cleared.

Lafayette DA Says Brandon Lavergne May Be Tried For Shunick, Pate Cases Together

As we reported last week, Brandon Lavergne was indicted by a grand jury in Lafayette for the first degree murder of the still-missing Mickey Shunick.

But in a shocking twist in the case, Lavergne was also charged with the first degree murder of Lisa Pate, an Acadia Parish woman who was found dead in 1999. Now the Lafayette Parish District attorney is saying that both cases may be tried together.
