Just when you were shaking off the Golden Globes and bracing for the Oscars, it’s time to think about the Emmys! Yes, months ahead of the actual show, CBS confirms that Stephen Colbert will host the TV industry’s biggest night, and won’t shy away from the Trump jokes.

The 2016 Emmys have arrived at last, hosted by none other than Jimmy Kimmel himself, and the competition is refreshingly tense this year. Will The People v. O.J. Simpson blow FX counterpart Fargo out of the water? What about The Americans’ first big competition, or Mr. Robot’s chances? The 2012 Primetime Emmy Awards aired Sunday, September 23, at 7 p.m. EST, and all the big names of TV stardom came out to see which of the top shows could truly be crowned the best! But which one of your favorite series and celebs took home the top awards?

As expected, 'Mad Men' and 'Modern Family' were among the top series nominated for the 2011 Primetime Emmys, announced early Thursday morning. 'Mad Men' picked up an impressive 19 nominations, the most of any drama series, including Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Leading Actor (Jon Hamm), Outstanding Leading Actress (Elisabeth Moss) and Outstanding Supporting Actress (Christina Hendricks).
