The Mines

I had the opportunity to be part of something really special this weekend as the Mines (Sulphur Community Theatre) put on an interactice dinner theatre inside Sulphur High School this past Saturday night. The production was called "Prom Date: Back to the 50's."

The latest production from the Mines Sulphur Community Theatre will be an interactive prom which takes place at Sherman High during the 1950's. Prom Date takes place at 100 Sycamore Street (Sulphur High) in Sulphur next Saturday night.

Over the weekend, I had the opportunity to see the Mines Theatre rendition of Little Women. They put on a great performance. Many of the actors and actresses on stage had never been in a production before, but you couldn’t tell by their performance.

Everyone who knows me knows that I am a big participant and supporter of Community Theater. I’ve been in quite a few productions in the last few years and even directed a few.  This weekend The Mines Community Theatre is putting on their production of Little Women.
