A 39-year-old man who allegedly followed Taylor Swift's motorcade to the airport after a concert in Texas on Oct. 22 has been arrested.

Frank Andrew Hoover was arrested on Thursday (Nov. 10) after an ongoing investigation that claims he stalked the singer in hopes to join her in her travels. Swift's bodyguards previously told police that when they asked Hoover his intentions, he said he wanted to “possibly accompany Taylor wherever she goes.”

Hoover is currently being held on a $100,000 bail, as he violated Swift's lifetime restraining order against him, which was filed in Kansas and demands he not come within 500 feet of the singer. An affidavit states that Hoover was attempting to get a photograph of Swift at a private hangar at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport and came within 25-50 feet of the singer and her family, thus violating the protective order.

Additionally, Hoover is being investigated for sending Swift’s father bizarre emails about his daughter months prior to following her to the airport. After the Oct. 22 incident his emails got more threatening.

“God is going to kill all the Swifts and then the issue will go away,” Hoover previously wrote in an email.

“I’ve placed my life in your hands as you could easily file suit for my violation of the lifetime protective order,” Hoover allegedly said in another message to Swift's father. “Despite the lifetime ban … I must continue forward as I have no other path in life.”

If convicted, Hoover could spend up to 10 years in prison for violating his restraining order.
