I know all you Tiger fans out there are already getting excited about LSU's first game of the season on August 31st against TCU in Dallas.  Now the pot has been stired a little bit making the game even more interesting.

Yesterday, TCU head coach Gary Patterson took a jab at LSU head coach Les Miles by criticizing him on the reinstatement of running back Jeremy Hill because Miles let his players vote Hill back onto the team.

TCU coach Gary Patterson is not about to let his players vote on a teammate's discipline.

Patterson, whose Horned Frogs open the season against LSU on Aug. 31, criticized Tigers coach Les Miles for reinstating running back Jeremy Hill after his teammates voted to allow him to return to the team.

"I'm sure if it was some opponent they'd beat by 100 points, [the players] wouldn't have a vote," Patterson said, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. "It's not my worry. I've got to play whoever they put on the field."

Jeremy Hill had been suspended from the team after his April 29 arrest for punching a man outside of a bar in Baton Rouge.

He was already on probation for pleading guilty to a 2012 misdemeanor charge from his sexual relationship with a then-14-year-old girl while he was in high school.

Jeremy Hill pleaded guilty to simple battery for the bar fight in July in Baton Rouge and as we reported earlier Miles let Hill's teammates vote on if they would allow Hill to rejoin the team which they did and practiced for the first time Monday.

Things just got a little more interesting for the TCU and LSU on August 31st which will kick off at 7pm from Dallas.  Stayed tuned.  I am sure there will be more to come!
