Took a "haunted tour" of New Orleans over the weekend. Let's just say two days have past and I still get goosebumps when talking about my experience. Especially when sharing about the LeLaurie Mansion.

The details of the Lalaurie are quite chilling and disturbing and that one human could carry out such acts against other humans is almost inconceivable.

Madam Lalaurie along with her husband had a beautiful old mansion in the french quarter and entertained often. But one such party, one of the servants caught the home on fire. When the fire brigade arrived, they scoured the home to make sure everyone had gotten out when they came across an ungodly sight.

The Lalaurie Mansion on Royal street is quite unsuspecting to look at... but once you hear the story of what happened, you just don't see it the same way again.
