Staying active and healthy may not sound like it goes along with beer, but in Bologna, Italy, it seems to be working. To promote its green initiative in the city, trying to cut down on traffic and its carbon footprint, Bologna has started Bella Mossa, Good Job. When you ride a bus or take a bike, you are awarded with points.

The points are tracked through an app that the commuter uses to log their bike trips or bus rides. Then, they are able to take their points and exchange them for goods and services from one of the over 100 businesses participating in the program. You can get movie tickets, ice cream, to even beer. Since its inception, the area has logged over 3 million miles (that's a lot of beer).

Would it work in Lake Charles? I bet if you could turn those points into crawfish it would!
