On Friday, April 10th, Tim Tebow will be in Lake Charles as part of  Macifest 2015; A Night of Inspiration with Tim Tebow and Friends begins at 6:30 in the Lake Charles Civic Center.

Macifest is about giving back and inspiring others and over the years has evolved, but has always been about family fun. This year, it centers around football and when you think of football and inspiration, you get Tim Tebow!  Tebow was the first ever sophomore to win the Heisman Trophy, the first round NFL draft pick in 2010 and is currently an ESPN college football commentator. Friday at  3:30, there will be a football clinic with Tebow at the Cowboy Stadium for children ages 11 & up focusing on safety and sportsmanship.

Maci Fontenot, now 11,  was diagnosed with Optical Glioma (brain tumor) almost 4 years ago, and was the recipient of a Make A Wish foundation wish and Macifest was her idea to give back to those who have helped her. She has lost the vision in her left eye, but is alive and well, and giving inspiration to others so they know that good things can come out of things that don't feel so good!

Tickets are still available for Tim Tebow's Night of Inspiration and for the Football Skills Clinic by clicking the links.
