That’s right, today is Banana Split Day. Of all the things that get special days, this one makes me the most happy. When I read about it this morning, I immediately started craving one. But I’m at work, and I can’t have one. So I’m living out my little dream on the Internet. Wanna join me?

Or maybe you’re looking to go the gourmet route. Foodandwine.com whipped together a little something featuring chocolate and almonds which almost looks like something I could make. But I won’t. Because there’s that time I almost burned the neighborhood down.
