Michael Bay is returning to make one more Transformer film!

Bay confirmed earlier this year that he wanted to make one more Transformers film himself - having directed the four so far - before handing the series over to someone else. It's no secret that Paramount has plans for a full Transformers movie universe once Transformers 5 is done.

It's full steam ahead, then. Transformers 5, we now learn, is set to start filming this coming May, and the smart money is on a release date in July 2017, or thereabouts. Mark Wahlberg will return to lead the cast. The script comes from Art Marcum and Matt Holloway (Iron Man), and Ken Nolan (Black Hawk Down).

The previous entry, Transformers: Age of Extinction, went on to make $1.1 billion worldwide.

Ok, I do have a question...

Why...?

The first movie was original and decent, the second one was stupid, the third one made me gag with the lack of storyline and the random-ass new characters and setting, and the fourth one was like, Why the heck?
