We wake up on a Saturday Morning to a tropical weather map dotted with four areas of disturbed weather. One of them looks like it develop further in the next week.

A tropical wave located about 200 northwest of Hispaniola(the remnants of Gabrielle) and another several hundred miles south of Bermuda have near a zero chance of further strengthening in the next few days.

Another area of showers and storms about 650 miles west of the Cape Verde Islands is also given a near zero chance of formation. It's the storm now coming off the western coast of Africa that will need watching over the next week. . NOAA gives this area a 70% chance of becoming a tropical cyclone in the next five days.

We will keep you up to date..

The other two lows do not threaten us either. The area of disturbed weather in the Bay of Campeche is expected to move into mainland Mexico and has a very little chance of development. There is also a low pressure area over the Norther Antilles but it is only has a 10% chance of development due to it's proximity to Gabrielle.

Though none of these are expected to affect us ... it does prove that the tropics are becoming more active.
