Tiger fans are up in arms after the past two very eventful days. Saturday was the beginning of the end for LSU's football season and the tenure of their 11 year head coach Les Miles.

First, LSU took on unranked Auburn Saturday afternoon. The Tigers defense didn't allow a touchdown, but Auburn scored 6 field goals, which proved enough to upset LSU.

The offense and conservative play calling, along with LSU's preseason pick to contend for a national championship, are probably some of the factors for the loss and the firing of Les Miles.

Yesterday evening, LSU made it official. They announced that they were relieving Les Miles of his head coaching duties. Also, offensive coordinator Cam Cameron was also let go from the program.

Athletic director Joe Alleva announced that Ed Orgeron would be the interim head coach for the LSU Tigers for the remainder of the 2016 season.

The national college football polls also came out yesterday, and tiger fans saw an unfamiliar sight. LSU was not on them. The Tigers went from #18 in the AP Poll and from #17 in the Coaches Poll to out of the top 25.

The Tigers are now 2-2 on the season and will be back in action this Saturday under Orgeron when they take on the Missouri Tigers at 6:30 p.m. in Tigers Stadium. The game will televised on the SEC Network.
