Ty’s Marathon Benefit This Weekend for Ty Griffen

This weekend is going to be very eventful for the Ty's Marathon people. Saturday and Sunday will be filled with family, activities, and great food.

Ty Griffen was in a boating accident a year ago, and was given just a .5% chance to live after it. A year later, with lots of miracles, Ty is recovering slowly, but surely. His family and friends have gotten together to hold a benefit for him this weekend involving cook-offs, live music, and auctions. Ty has been approved from some new treatments, but, they are so new, insurance wont cover them.

That's where the benefit comes in. Teams can still register for the rib cook off and cookie bake off, and even the Skeet Shoot competition. Live and Silent Auctions will also take place on the Sunday, and these aren't just your typical auction items. They will have a crawfish boil on Sunday, all packaged up so you can get some and roll out, or stay and enjoy live entertainment by Charlie Wayne, David Joel, Ron Fruge, and Brad Brinkly. It will be an amazing weekend, so go stop by and get some food, cook some food, or enjoy the live entertainment.
