Video of Flooding in Texas, an All Too Familiar Sight

With the heavy rains looming over Southeast Texas, roads are beginning to flood. According to the Texas DOT site, main roadways in low areas are flooding over. Highway 87 South in West Orange, Highway 347 in Nederland, and Highway 73 in Groves are all being reported as having water over the roadway in certain spots.

To stay up to date with these road ways, you can visit the TXDOT website. Always remember, if you are driving towards a roadway covered in water, turn around don't drown. High water can move swiftly and carry you and your vehicle away easier than you think.
