Rising country star William Michael Morgan has announced his debut album, Vinyl, set for release in September.

On Wednesday (Aug. 4), the singer posted a video on Facebook to announce Vinyl, which is scheduled to drop on Sept. 30. Viewers will be able to tell that the up-and-comer is bursting with excitement about his new project with Warner Music Nashville.

"My goodness gracious. I cannot believe it's already about this time for me to be sharing some brand-new songs with you guys," Morgan says. "Gosh, I am so excited."

In the video, Morgan informs fans that his first full-length record will hold 11 songs, but he admits that number could change as as the project progresses. He says the album is "all country" and "true to the EP, of course," which was released in mid-March, and notes that the disc is named after one of his favorite songs, but then adds slyly, "That's all we're gonna tell you."

In addition to "Vinyl," the Vinyl album will also feature Morgan's Top 20 hit "I Met a Girl," according to a press release. The record is being produced by Jimmy Ritchey and Scott Hendricks, and Morgan says that he and his producers have been "working so hard" to get the songs ready and out to the public.

The William Michael Morgan EP is available for purchase on iTunes; additional information about Vinyl, including pre-order details, have yet to be announced.

Morgan is set to perform at WE Fest 2016 on Friday (Aug. 5). Other performers at the festival include Kid RockEric Church and Tim McGraw.
