Most of the 6,000 crazed wrasslin fans arrived at the Lake Charles Civic Center four hours prior to the WWE Live event last night. And let me tell you, they did not walk away disappointed.

My afternoon strategy was for my sons and a friend to meet me at the radio station so we counld ride together in the Gator 99.5 Mobile. Oh, nothing like showing off the station love for Southwest Louisiana and for the WWE.

We arrived at 5:15 p.m. and the line to get in the the Civic Center was CRAZY long. A line that started around 2 p.m.! Doors didn't open til 6 p.m.!

What gets me are the fans who tote around their personel replicas on WWE Championship belts. Saw a few of them last night. A few John Cena look-a-likes as well.

The highlight of the night was where John Cena admitted to the crowd that he broke his own nose while fight King Barrett last night. It happened when Cena suplexed Barrett, setting his opponent up for the famed Five Knuckle Shuffle. Cena Nation would be victorious over the King.

The Main Event was WWE Champion Seth Rollins taking on Randy Orton in a non title matchup infront of the cajun fanbase. And the match took place inside at steal cage. Great match with Orton picking up the victory with a RKO finisher.

All in all, WWE put on quite the extraordinary show for the Southwest Louisiana wrestling fanbase.
