Wynonna Is Coming Coming to Lake Charles In May

Legendary Country music artist Wynonna is coming to Lake Charles In May.  Wynonna who is one part of the legendary duo The Judds will be in concert at the Golden Nugget May 26th.

Many of you may not know that Wynonna's real name is Christina Claire Ciminella.  She is from Ashland Kentucky and started her country music career in 1983.  That year, The Judds hit the scene and just exploded.

The Judds racked up 23 hit singles and 14 number one songs and sold more than 20 millions records.  In 1991 her mother Naomi was forced into retirement due to an illness and that is when Wynonna launched her solo career.

Since she started her solo career, she has released 43 singles and five of them went all the way to number one.  Some of those number one's include "No One Else On Earth", "To Be Loved By You", and "I Saw The Light" just to name a few.

Wynonna will be performing live at the Golden Nugget In Lake Charles on Friday May 26th in the Grand Event Center.  The show will start at 8:30 p.m.
