There is just two weeks left in the NFL regular season and due to the pitiful season the Saints have had they only have two more games.  They have no hope of making the post season.

With nothing to gain, why would Drew Brees risk his health to play today?  ESPN said on game day that Drew Brees said that he is going to play and insists on playing.  Last week after the Saints lost to the Lions, the team announced that Brees was diagnosis with a tear in the plantar fascia.

Plantar fascia is that band of tissue that connects from your heel bone to your toes. Reports earlier this week said the Brees was out for the rest of the season but today we have learned that Drew will play against Jacksonville.  How long will Drew Brees last today?  Is it a good idea for Brees to play with nothing to gain?  I think not!  We will have to see today.

The Saints and the Jaguars will lock up today in the Mercedes Benz Superdome in New Orleans.  The game will kickoff at 3:05 p.m. and the game will be televised on CBS.
