Grand Ole Opry To Hold Memorial For Troy Gentry Thursday [WATCH]

Last Friday, the country music world was shocked when we learned of the death of Troy Gentry who is one half of the hit country music duo Montgomery Gentry.

The Duo was scheduled to play a show in New Jersey last Friday night when Troy Gentry took a spur of the moment helicopter ride from the airport near the venue they were suppose to play at in concert.

The helicopter Gentry was riding in had engine trouble which could be the cause that led to the crash and Gentry's death.

The Grand Ole Opry in Nashville will hold a public memorial this Thursday, September 14th at 11:00 a.m. for Troy Gentry.  Fans are invited to the service but it will also be streamed live at Opry.com.
