
Exciting Prop Plane Competition In South Louisiana This Weekend
(Jennings, Louisiana) - Get ready for an action-packed weekend at SWAMP STOL, an exciting aviation event coming back to Jennings, Louisiana, for its 5th year this weekend.
This event is the first stop in the 2025 National STOL season and will feature thrilling airplane action that’s fun for the whole family.

STOL stands for Short Takeoff and Landing, and this competition lets pilots show off just how quickly and smoothly their planes can take off and land. Pilots from all over the country will fly into Jennings Airport (3R7) to compete and put on an amazing show.
Whether you're an airplane fan or just curious about aviation, SWAMP STOL is a great way to enjoy a day at the airport. There will be food trucks, or you can bring a small cooler with snacks and drinks. Camping chairs are encouraged so you can sit back and enjoy the action.
