UPDATE: I-10 Eastbound Shut Down, Traffic Being Diverted

UPDATE: The traffic caused by the accident on I-10 Eastbound at the Highway 165 exit has cleared up!

Currently, there is a wreck located on I-10 Eastbound at the Highway 165 exit. I-10 has been shut down Eastbound from the Highway 165 exit (Kinder Exit) all the way to the Lacassine Exit. Traffic is being diverted South to Highway 90, where motorists can continue Eastbound and jump back onto the interstate in Welsh.

Traffic is also backed up for miles on Highway 90 Eastbound, so be aware. It is unknown how long the interstate will be shut down, but we will keep you updated.
